Sprinkler systems, landscape lighting, holiday lighting, paver restoration, drainage, and raised gardens. Serving Barrington homeowners since 2000.
Barrington is a village in Cook and Lake counties, Illinois, incorporated on February 16, 1865. The village name derives from Great Barrington, Massachusetts, in reference to the New England origins of many early settlers. The Historic Preservation Overlay District, established in 2001, encompasses examples of Victorian, Victorian Gothic, Queen Anne, and other late-19th-century architectural forms.
Notable Barrington structures include the Octagon House (also known as Hawley House), listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the Catlow Theater, which opened in May 1927 and operates today as a single-screen theater. Cuba Marsh Forest Preserve — a 782-acre wetland with three miles of crushed-gravel trail — lies northeast of the village core.
