Sprinkler systems, landscape lighting, holiday lighting, paver restoration, drainage, and raised gardens. Serving Buffalo Grove homeowners since 2000.
Buffalo Grove is a village in Lake and Cook counties, Illinois, located approximately 30 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. The area was originally inhabited by the Potawatomi, and the village name derives from the English translation of the Potawatomi name for Buffalo Creek. Catholic German immigrants established St. Mary's Church and School in the 1850s.
Buffalo Grove incorporated in 1958 with 164 residents and grew rapidly in the following decades — the 1970s produced an 80 percent population increase, the third-highest rate in the northwest suburbs. The Buffalo Grove Metra station, opened in 1996, serves commuters on the North Central Service line to Chicago's Union Station.
