Sprinkler systems, landscape lighting, holiday lighting, paver restoration, drainage, and raised gardens. Serving Waukegan homeowners since 2000.
Waukegan is the county seat of Lake County, Illinois, located approximately 36 miles north of Chicago. The 2020 census recorded a population of 89,321, making Waukegan the most populous city in Lake County and the tenth-largest municipality in Illinois.
The city's name derives from a Potawatomi word meaning 'little fort.' The settlement was formerly called 'Little Fort' before being renamed by John H. Kinzie and Solomon Juneau, with the new designation adopted on March 31, 1849. Author Ray Bradbury, who grew up in Waukegan, based his fictional Green Town setting on childhood memories of the city, using it in three published works.
